David Fish

David is an award-winning, London-based music supervisor. Most recently, he spent five years as Lead Music Creative and Production Executive at Netflix UK, where he oversaw music across UK productions including Black Mirror, Supacell, The Kitchen, Grenfell: Uncovered, and Steve. Alongside his production work, he developed music supervisor and composer training initiatives connected to Supacell, The Kitchen, and Top Boy.

He specialises in on-set supervision and complex, music-heavy projects. Through close collaboration with commissioners, he has built a deep understanding of development processes and showrunner relationships, which makes him uniquely placed to guide music direction and navigate delicate creative dynamics and questions of taste.

Before Netflix, David co-founded the music supervision agency Redfive. His credits there include Rye Lane, for which he received a BIFA nomination, as well as The Tourist, Boxing Day, I Used to Be Famous, Long Way Up, Audrey, and McQueen.

Following his training as a composer, David began his executive career at Metropolis Studios, managing a sync-focused roster of composers and writers. His early experience in composition continues to inform his approach to music supervision and creative collaboration.
