Pierre-Marie Dru

Pierre-Marie Dru is an award-winning French music supervisor and the founder of Pigalle Production, a music production and publishing outfit established in 2004. Operating across film, television, and advertising, his expertise encompasses artistic music direction, executive soundtrack production, and complex rights negotiation. A leading advocate for his profession, Dru co-founded ASM (the French Guild of Music Supervisors) in 2021, serving as its inaugural president.

His supervision portfolio includes some of international cinema’s most critically acclaimed recent releases. Dru supervised Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez, which won the Cannes Soundtrack Award, the César Award for Best Original Score, the Golden Globe, and the Academy Award for Best Original Song ("El Mal"). He also supervised the box-office phenomenon The Count of Monte Cristo (Pathé), which achieved over 10 million admissions in France. Both films premiered in Official Selection at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Dru’s exceptional work on Emilia Pérez and Leos Carax’s Annette earned him nominations for the Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS) Awards in the Best Music Supervision for Film category.

Dru’s extensive filmography features landmark cinema projects including Jérémy Clapin’s I Lost My Body (César Award for Best Original Score), Audiard’s Paris, 13th District (Cannes Soundtrack Award), Martin Bourboulon’s two-part epic The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan and Milady, and Antonin Baudry’s The Wolf’s Call. On television, his supervision credits include Olivier Assayas’ Irma Vep (HBO), Alain Chabat’s animated series Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight (Netflix), and Kyan Khojandi’s Bref 2 (Disney).
